Editor Mode - taking coordinates and map information
|
Drag the big Pointer arrow and press "Get
Info" to take Pointer and Map position and scale
information. | |||
| LVME Editor Mode is used to establish coordinates
for Locations (egz. to enter an object's X&Y to database), as well as
getting map's X, Y and Scale (egz. to place into setup file, so initially
the map is loaded into centered view with desired scale). This mode can be accessed in two ways - By initializing the map in Editor Mode (as on this page) - By pressing a mouse button anywhere on the map, holding it pressed and pressing "Home" button on the keyboard. "Home" button switches Editor Mode on/off - you can try it on any of the maps in previous samples. Taking coordinates is very simple - first place the pointer into the right position by dragging it, then press "Get Info" button on the map - you should see Pointer's and Map's position information. Using Editor Mode does not affect groups & objects positioning functions - you can simultaneously position different locations and take the necessary measurements.
